Certification in DRM Ecosystems – Call for Facilitator Nominations

We are pleased to write further to the decision of the Executive Council of the African Union EX.CL/Dec.1315(XLVII), which supported the operationalization and scaling-up of the Agenda 2063 Academy. In the same Decision, the Executive Council also adopted the African Union Domestic Resource Mobilization Strategy (DRM) 2024-2033.

The Agenda 2063 Academy (www.a2063a.africa) is structured around four campuses:

  • The Premier Campus
  • The Moonshot Campus
  • The Pathways Campus
  • The Enabler Campus

In this context, a Certification in Domestic Resource Mobilization (DRM) Ecosystems, which falls under the Enabler Campus, will be undertaken in the first half of 2026. The Certification will also leverage the African Union DRM Strategy 2024-2033.

The certification will be delivered by Partnerships for Development (www.p4d.ac).

You are kindly requested to nominate suitable candidates to a pool of facilitators for this upcoming certification. Self-nomination is also welcome. Successful nominees will first undergo an online 12-week programme, requiring an estimated six (6) hours per week. Those admitted to the Pool of Facilitators will subsequently be called upon to facilitate learning sessions.

Nominees should therefore:

  • have the time availability and institutional permission to facilitate,
  • be professionally engaged in areas related to Domestic Resource Mobilization, and
  • view this role as aligned with their professional and career trajectory.

Please note that this is open to all sectors and levels of governance as long as the nominee is involved in Domestic Resource Mobilization.

Nominees are requested to submit to complete the online application form.

We would appreciate your support in identifying qualified professionals who can contribute to strengthening Africa’s DRM ecosystem in line with the ambitions of Agenda 2063.

Please accept the assurances of my highest consideration.
