Certification in Living the 7 Aspirations of Agenda 2063

The Certification in Living the 7 Aspirations of Agenda 2063 is a leadership and citizenship programme that supports individuals and institutions to internalize, practice, and lead Agenda 2063 – The Africa We Want as part of everyday life.

Anchored in African Union Executive Council Decision EX.CL/Dec.1315(XLVII), the certification contributes to the objectives of the Agenda 2063 Academy by translating Africa’s long-term development vision into daily behaviours, leadership choices, and community action.

The programme equips participants to:

• Set direction by grounding decisions in Africa’s shared values and aspirations,
• Deliver results through consistent, values-driven action, and
• Act as custodians of value, strengthening integrity, trust, and inter-generational responsibility.

Progressive tiers reflect deepening practice and leadership influence:

Participants complete the certification with a Living the 7 Aspirations Commitment and become part of a community of practice for peer learning and recognition, enabling participants and institutions to share experience, learn from one another, and collectively deepen how the Africa We Want is lived across generations.
